Of all of the places in the world that I want to visit, and there are many, there is only one place that I don't want to visit for the book shops. Now this is a big thing for me, for I rarely want to go anywhere that isn't at least remotely supportive of my rampant bibliophilia. But there is one place I want to go to see, not for the books, not even for the art or the history.

I want to go to Africa, to see if it is true.

To see if the place matches the image in my head,in my heart.

To see if the Savannah is really that big.

To see if the mountains of Ethiopia really do reach past the sky.

To see the people.

To hear the music.

To feel if it really is the same as it is in my heart.

Africa.

OK, Not for kids but funny

Just a warning, I wouldn't let my kids watch this quite yet as the language isn't SQUEEKY clean and it may give them ideas so you may want to put on the headphones or wait until your little ones are in bed.

It made me laugh 'till I cried and also made me a little scared - the one trying to take the photo is Billy and the one with the yellow tie is grown up Christopher I am sure.

I must say, I am actually getting surprisingly few of these comments lately and I just feel sorry for those who make them now!

This gave me a giggle and it's scripture too so I can justify forcing my children to sing it and do funny actions to entertain me ;)

I am fairly new to facebook, and I have to admit, it doesn't grab me that much. It was good for a while, I found out what a few people are doing who I haven't caught up with for ages, but the gloss is wearing off. I tried to be all enthusiastic, even did that 25 random things about me, but it just isn't me. I prefer Blogging, far less interactive. I get to just throw my thoughts into cyberspace without having to worry about 'friends' or someone from The Past wanting to get in touch when I in fact kind of deliberately lost touch in the first place. (yes all you people who thought I was a nice person can gasp in horror now!). Anyway, this clip cracked me up!
